Established in 1976, Viña Luis Felipe Edwards is undeniably one of Chile’s most progressive wineries. This Colchagua Valley based operation sits nestled in a secluded horseshoe-shaped valley, separated from the Andes by the smaller San Fernando ridge. Luis Felipe Edwards is a family operation with two generations actively focused on quality and traditional family values.
In 2007 part of the old cellar was dedicated to the LFE900 mountain vineyards project. Ninety small capacity stainless steel open-top fermenters, a manual sorting table and vertical press were installed to receive and process 10 different grape varieties from the 110 small plots planted at altitudes of up to 900 meters above sea level.
